“I am a registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a member of the Psychologists Association of Alberta. I completed my Masters of Counselling in Counselling Psychology through the Graduate Centre for Applied Psychology at Athabasca University. Prior to completing my Masters in Psychology, I worked for over 20 years as an Occupational Therapist assisting clients dealing with both physical and mental health issues. I have practiced in many settings including community clinics, Primary Care settings, and home care.

I work from a client-centered culturally sensitive approach and use a variety of techniques drawn from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and meditation/mindfulness. I believe that an open, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship is essential to allow clients to explore and understand the issues they may be dealing with. Working from this relationship and understanding, we can collaboratively discover new insights and solutions.”
